you say i look tired
true perhaps
but if the tiredness in me could be seen on my skin
well
the coroner wouldn’t think to check twice
when you are tired of living because living is hellish
you know true tiredness is hidden all too well
do you understand the me you see
how
except scientifically
what do you get when you multiply genetics that consistently correlate to the histories of trauma and oppression and mysteries leveled into bodies that predeceased the me i won’t let you see with anxieties about the society my mini-me’s must eventually survive independently of the me you choose to see
tired
tiredness that teases the thoughts training through till truth tremors
taughtening tolerance
threatening time
tired
how could i look anything but
