ISTE Framework Presentation

For this project, I utilized the Emaze online content creation platform and Screencastify’s screen recorder software to create a presentation for adult learners. The audience for this project was K-12 teachers receiving training on using the International Society for Technology in Education Standards to integrate technology into the classroom. The ISTE standards create a framework for innovative education in the 21st century. There are standards for students, educators, education leaders, and coaches. To complete this project, I researched and studied the standards, selected the ones that were targeted for my audience, drafted a storyboard for my presentation, and then used the tech tools mentioned above to create a dynamic and engaging presentation. The presentation is 3D and incorporates movement, but the slides are clear and direct following the instructional design Rule of 6. I undertook this project in Fall 2019 as parts of the requirement for my Methods and Assessments in K12 Education course, but it could be utilized in teacher training and professional development now and in future.
