As part of my education partnerships work for the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, I developed listening guides for the 1619 Podcast.
I designed and facilitated this community vision boarding session as part of Black Girls Create’s annual Kuumba Kickback digital convention.
After prototyping a future technology that could be used in a K12 classroom environment, I designed a lesson plan for integrating it into instruction in an effective and ethical way.
I used Lucid Chart to create a graphic that provides a basic overview of five different strategic planning models. This is a website’s worth of information condensed into one clear and concise graphic.
I conducted a complete redesign of the website for a local nonprofit that supports LGBTQ+ young adults and fights homelessness in this population. I developed a website guide, built the site, conducted a usability test, and delivered a usability report as part of this project.
I worked with two other students to write a grant proposal for a local nonprofit that included a cover letter, a needs assessment, a gantt chart and project timeline, a methods section, a budget, and a sustainability plan.
I used Piktochart to create this infographic, about mindfulness in the classroom. It is clear enough to use as a tool with students.
I used Google Classroom and other tools to design a distance learning course to teach students the process for narrative writing. In the course students produce their own writing and critically engage with the work of others.
I utilized the Emaze online content creation platform and Screencastify’s screen recorder software to create a presentation for adult learners.
